My first Wedding Shoot

My very first wedding was for my cousin Lucy and her fiance Tim. Since it was my first wedding I had no idea as to what to expect. I went prepared with my flash, memory cards, extra batteries, lens cleaner, chargers and filter. I did not want to need something and not have it. I was stressed the whole day because I wanted to get some great shots and the weather was not cooperating with us. Over all I liked the shots I got but I doubt I will ever do a wedding again. I took many pics and here are some of my favorite ones so far! Hope you enjoy!

P.S.

I wanted to go out biking today but we were under tornado warning/watch for the most of the afternoon until late at night. Since I got my bike I have been anxious to get out there and enjoy the freedom and smells of nature. Today I ordered a hydration pack so that I no longer go thirsty while riding. I bought it on Amazon for about $50! very good deal. Plus it's very light weight and has some pockets for my cellphone and other small stuff! I can't wait until it gets here!

Bike Riding Day 1

It's been 5 days without facebook an I'm actually quite excited I'm doing it. I wanted to spend way less time on the computer an more time being active an doing something to better myself. So I said no more facebook for a long time. I thought biking would be a lot of fun so I set out to by a bike. After a couple of days of searching with no results I found this beauty on sale at Dick's sporting goods! Was originally 250 got it for 105!!


I went for a nice long ride today, about one hour an 20 minutes. It was definitely fun an I can't wait to do it again. I took the country roads because they are the safest an I enjoyed the time alone. Gave me a chance to think about life an not only that I enloted soaking up the nice fresh air and sounds of nature. 


There are some crazy drivers out there an some pretty nice ones. I got waved to twice an had some cars drive a little too close for comfort. I'm going to buy a hydration pack so that I can have water with me. I didn't take any this time an boy was I thirsty. Luckily I saw my mom driving down the back road an she gave me a drink. Lol ill keep you up to date on how my biking is going! I want to build muscles an get a new take on life.

WOW its been forever...

Its been quite sometime since I sat down and wrote in my Blog. It has to do with the fact that I have been super busy lately. I was in Mexico for two weeks visiting my dad and family. I had a lot of fun down there and I am hoping to go back in the next couple of weeks for the fairs that my family has every year. Its like a huge family reunion where everybody comes down for 3 days of visiting and partys, plus a talent show. Once I got back from Mexico I shot my very first wedding! I had a lot of fun doing it but I doubt I will ever do weddings again. They are very stressful. I currently got a second job working for my mom. I am in charge of creating the work schedules, running payroll, organizing the office, creating papers and helping her keep the business going. I definitely have missed writing in my blog and I have especially missed hearing feed back from my awesome readers. I hope all is going well where ever you may be and that whatever trials or troubles you are going through soon come to an end.

Bull Poker

So this video quality is really bad but I was at work and I was telling my coworkers how I played Bull Poker in Mexico. Basically you get some tables, have people sit down at them and release a bull in the corral. If you move you are out so last person sitting down wins the game! It is a very intense game but it gives you a huge adrenaline rush! lol

Prom

My Friend Brandi asked me to take prom pictures for her son & his group, to which I said I would. I need as much practice as I can before I do the wedding in June. Which by the way I am so excited for! The pictures in my opinion turned out great. The day started off rainy and the sky was so dark but little by little it cleared up and we were good to go for pictures. I had a really good time photographing this group because I felt that I learned a lot. Like how to pose big groups, how to take charge get the group together & always have an assistant with you! I hope you like the pics!

Another beautiful Sunday

I have always thought it would be a cool Idea to take pictures of someone out on a couch in the middle of a field, but I never knew where or how to do it. Well today I was telling my mom about my idea and she then told me that she saw a couch out in a field while driving home from work and that I should go check it out. So I did. I got my sister all dressed up in a fancy dress and made my way there! It was perfect! Here is one of my favorite shots! I just started editing them so Ill add more later!

I also took my first engagement pictures today! I am so excited how they are turning out! woke up early for that and I went to take them at this really cool garden in Madison Wisconsin. What do you think of them so far?
